Selecting Ceramic Flooring
Ceramic tile is cost effective, adds a fresh look to any room and is great for high traffic areas. It can be used in any interior room from your kitchen counter to the walls of your shower, therefore its versatility is unmatched. Ceramic tile is also extremely durable, resists fading and is the most stain resistant flooring option you'll find. Is it the perfect flooring product? Quite possibly, but we'll let you be the judge of that.

Installation Considerations

While ceramic is generally resistant to liquids, stains, and dirt, the grout surrounding it is not. That means it's important to protect the grout with proper sealant.
Make sure every tile has at least 85% contact to the mortar and sub-floor for interior applications, 95% for exterior applications, and 100% for submerged applications.
When installing travertine tiles 12" x 12" or larger on floors, it is critical that sub-floors are flat smooth and level.
